I love weddings, and being that I am a newlywed (just made the 6 month mark), I learnt a tremendous amount about being a married woman. Looking back at the big day, I realized that due to the overwhelming task of planning my own wedding (400 guests), I could not enjoy the journey that most girls embark on, leading to the happiest day of their lives. So, for the beautiful brides out there, I have some inspiring thoughts that I would like to share in this blog.
~It's OK to feel overwhelmed, thousands of lovers have felt overwhelmed before you~
~The first step is to cherish the reasons for your big day: Love~
~Love is spontaneous, make sure your big day is too~
~It's ok to have conflicting ideas, after all, that is one day you can have your cake and eat it too~
~Your wedding is not only a celebration for your love, but an honor for your parents and families~
~Take pride in your guests, they are a reflection of who you are~
~Beleive in fairy tales, as your story is about to come true~
~Take the opportunity to show your love for each other~
~It's OK to cry~
~When it becomes difficult to balance the desires of both families, keep in mind that they are just as excited and happy as you~
~Your wedding day is about sharing your love with the people who are important to you~
Lastly, I would like to copy a quote that I came across in a book:
"What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined...
~George Eliot~
Thank you for visiting my wedding corner.
